Aqua Consultants acquire urban drainage modelling consultancy RES Environmental

Aqua Consultants, a leading environmental consultancy provider, part of the Adler & Allan Group, has acquired urban drainage modelling consultancy, RES Environmental, to further enhance its ability to tackle environmental challenges, such as reducing pollution and managing the effects of climate change in the UK.

RES Environmental delivers integrated catchment modelling, wastewater modelling, drainage design, and flood risk management, including sustainable drainage solutions (SuDS), to UK water companies.

With 35 employees, based in Sheffield and Exeter, RES Environmental is the eighth acquisition made by Adler & Allan in the utilities sector, and 12th overall in the last three years.

This acquisition follows the announcement that leading drainage and civil engineering experts Glanville Environmental joined the Goldman Sachs-backed Adler & Allan Group in April 2025.
