Energy
As the UK government strives to reduce its environmental impact companies are increasingly committing to achieving stretching net zero carbon positions.
We are strategically positioned to understand companies’ ambitions and assist them in balancing, assessing, and developing their top-down ambitions with their bottom-up projects and programmes. Our expertise across commercial, asset management and engineering allows us to credibly evaluate top down and bottom up approaches, identifying opportunities and risks in achieving the companies long term ambitions. We are experienced in providing companies with clear and easy to implement action plans to bridge any gaps and ensure ambitions are achievable in the short, medium, and long term.
As well as supporting the industry with net zero reporting and ambitions we can call on its technical and strategic capabilities to support and guide its clients in the areas of renewable energy and self-generation, particularly around biogas. We can advise with respect to energy markets stability providing whole life cost assessments of various renewable energy generation opportunities accounting for operational and strategic risks and rewards.
We are working with gas distribution networks as they prepare their long-term plans (RIIO-3) and supporting transmission companies on embedding goo asset management processes. We have also supported SSE Renewables in their journey towards ISO 55000 accreditation. Through these activities we help companies envision the future and identify practical steps to move them towards their stated goals.
