This major achievement is the first formal procurement route for Aqua Consultants, with the UK’s largest gas distribution network, and provides a framework with three of the four gas distribution networks.

Cadent Gas has an ambitious programme of activities underway to support the delivery of the 2050 net-zero target, aimed at building the case for hydrogen to be used in its networks. More recently it has also begun making the case for continued use of the gas network to support the adoption of hybrid heating systems, growth in biomethane, and a significant reduction in leakage levels to the lowest levels in the sector.
